Wolfmont Press is looking primarily for good, well-told fiction. While in the past we have focused on crime, suspense and mystery fiction, but we will consider almost any fiction genre.* However, we do ask that you refrain from sending us anything that resembles the following:

  • Pornography
  • Hate literature or racist literature
  • Books that are awash in blood and gore for the sake of shocking the reader
  • Books that stretch the limits of acceptability for conventional sensibilities (i.e., a book that casts a misogynistic rapist as a hero)

If you think Wolfmont Press may be a good choice for you, tell us that, and why.

To query regarding publication:

  • Send a query letter that contains information regarding yourself, your publishing credits, and your manuscript.
  • In the letter give us a 50-to-75 word bio
  • Give us a 75-to-100 word summary of your book, but don't give away the ending, as well as the word count of the finished book, rounded off the nearest thousand words
  • Tell us what you see as the market for your book (Who would be willing to spend money on your book, other than your relatives? Be specific!)
  • List up to, but no more than, your last ten publishing credits
  • Attach an RTF or Word document of the first two chapters of your book (And be sure to tell us if it is finished yet or not!)

Send this entire email package to us here.

Or, if you prefer, send it via postal mail to:

Wolfmont Press
238 Park Drive NE
Ranger, GA        30734

We do NOT accept submissions of entire manuscripts in hardcopy format.  If you cannot send the manuscript as an appropriate RTF or MS Word document if/when we ask for it, don't bother submitting at all.

PLEASE NOTE: If you submit via postal mail, be sure to include a #10 SASE for a general reply, and/or an appropriately-sized, postage-applied, self-addressed manila envelope for return of the manuscript.  Submittals without such an appropriate return envelope will be recycled after all is said and done.

If you are looking for a publisher for non-fiction or more family-friendly fiction, please visit our Honey Locust Press imprint.
